Nipro Pharma, a member of the Nipro Group, has developed its business as a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products by giving its highest priority to maintaining quality standards and a stable supply of products. Currently, Nipro Pharma provides contract manufacturing services to 91 companies inside and outside Japan, achieving the top-class contract manufacturing performance in Japan.
Nipro Pharma has 7 manufacturing bases, at 6 locations in Japan and 1 overseas (in Vietnam) which are equipped with a system that allows for the production of a wide variety of formulations in a broad range of production scales. In addition to construction of manufacturing lines appropriate for diverse drug formulations, volumes and scales, including combination products developed in cooperation with Nipro Corporation, they have established a specialized manufacturing plant for highly potent drugs and antibiotics. Most recently, they built a facility dedicated to inspection and packaging processes. The company intend to achieve further improvement of our production technologies, actively introducing leading-edge technology. At each manufacturing base, Nipro Pharma have expanded production capacity in a phased approach, and at the same time, a system that allows the concurrent production of the same drugs among bases is being put in place to respond to BCP (Business Continuity Planning) requirements.
Nipro Pharma has established a position as the largest manufacturer of contract pharmaceutical products in all dosage forms, including injectables, orally administered drugs, and external preparations, based on its development abilities focused on safety and convenience, and its outstanding technologies which enable high quality and stable production.
NIPRO Pharma Vietnam Co., Ltd. has started operating in April 2015. Its production will be started with injectables, and then the production lines will be expanded to orally administered drugs and external preparations in the near future. High-quality pharmaceutical products are produced under the control and direction of a Japanese staff. The company has established a system to support exports around the world, to the Japanese, U.S., European, and global markets in conformity with the U.S., EU, and Japan GMP requirements and with PIC/S.
Location and infrastructure of the highest class in Vietnam
NIPRO Pharma Vietnam Co., Ltd. is located in the VSIP industrial complex in Hai Phong, the third largest city in Vietnam. Here, they have infrastructure providing water and electricity of the highest class in Vietnam. A highway was completed in 2015 providing access from Hai Phong to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, available in only one hour by car. Cat Bi International Airport became an international airport in May 2016. The direct flights between Hai Phong and Japan will achieve an access in as little as five hours.
Production lines conforming with the U.S., EU, and Japan GMP requirements and with PIC/S GMP
The site of NIPRO Pharma Vietnam Co., Ltd. has an area of approximately 150,000 square meters, equivalent to 18 football fields. An ampoule plant started operating in April 2015, in conformity with the U.S., EU, and Japan GMP requirements and with PIC/S GMP. A vial product plant (solution and freeze-dried) started operation in November 2016. The production lines will be further expanded to enable the production of orally administered drugs and external preparations, in accordance with the needs of pharmaceutical companies.
