ONYX offers a wide portfolio of hospitality brands, including the market-leading Amari brand of hotels and resorts, Shama serviced apartments and the midscale OZO hotels.

Company was founded by the key leaders who created the Amari brand, in order to manage the operations and development of Amari, as well as other brands. Through these brands, Onyx will strengthen ability to operate across the quality spectrum, from value-oriented products through mid-scale and luxury.

Amari - Creating memorable experiences that embody the spirit of local culture while enhancing the renowned traditions of Asian hospitality, Amari reflects the warmth and energy of an evolving modern Asia. Amari’s network of properties spans Thailand and beyond, from scenic seaside locations to vibrant urban settings, including Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket, Krabi, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Vang Vieng, Buriram, Doha, Dhaka, Maldives, Johor Bahru, Galle and Yangshuo.

Shama - Shama introduces serviced apartments that epitomise comfort and style whilst also offering a lifestyle programme aimed at fast tracking the social lives of both its long and short term residents. Shama currently operates properties in Hong Kong, China and Bangkok. New properties are scheduled to open in major cities, particularly financial centres and residential areas, across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

OZO - OZO is a mid-scale hotel experience created for those who crave the basics done right, with a philosophy focused on delivering restful nights, energising mornings and a quality experience to on-the-go guests without all the fuss. Practical yet stylish, OZO exceeds expectations by offering value and comfort for travellers looking for insider experiences, combined with good connectivity and a great sleep. Learning and Development

Learning & Development team at the ONYX corporate office in Bangkok ensures that the quality of training is consistent throughout the group, meeting the needs of Team Members. Training is flexible and adaptable to match the diversity of guests and properties.

Through performance appraisals, regular pulse surveys, career lattices, individual development plans and many other feedback and development methods, company ensure that they constantly strive to meet Team Members' needs.

ONYX also offer internships for student trainees and a management training programme for hospitality graduates that shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Management Training Programmes

1-year Management Training Programme is aimed at newly graduating individuals from hospitality schools around the world. This structured programme offers the opportunity to obtain hands-on exposure in one of properties, opening the door to a rewarding and exciting career in hospitality management.

Each personalised programme is adapted to the strengths, prior experience and needs of each management trainee. Common elements such as work reports, training records, special projects and regular meetings with other management trainees and corporate HR and evaluations ensure that employees acquire the necessary skills and receive valuable feedback for career growth.
