A Strong and Diverse Board

Board Refreshment

In 2015, company undertook a Board Refreshment initiative that has led to a number of meaningful steps, including expanding the responsibilities of Lead Independent Director, adopting a mandatory retirement age for Board members, and bringing greater diversity into the Board and committee leadership.

Human Rights and Anti-Corruption

Omnicom operates in an increasingly complex global environment and is committed to supporting and respecting human rights. In 2018, Omnicom introduced new Human Rights Policy, and also an updated Code of Business Conduct, for which they plan to roll out training across Omnicom in the second half of 2018. Omnicom also implemented global policies to ensure compliance with the EU’s Global Data Protection Regulation, which took effect on May 25, 2018.

Omnicom have a longstanding commitment to developing people

Each year, Omnicom make substantial investments in education and training, which include basic skills training all the way through advanced Omnicom University for current and future leaders. Omnicom also continue to ramp up digital training, so that all employees have a deep understanding of how to leverage new technologies and channels for clients and their brands.
